2020 Cenevre Otomobil Fuarı’nda görücüye çıkan Hyundai i20, otomobilin trendini daha teknolojik ve daha sportif bir araca doğru geçiş yaptı.

Eski halefinden daha geniş, daha alçak ve biraz daha uzun olan üçüncü nesil i20, daha fazla bilgi — eğlence özelliği ve ilk defa kablosuz olarak kullanılabilen bir Apple CarPlay ve Android Auto sistemiyle satışa sunuluyor. Bir tanesi gösterge paneli ve diğeri ise bilgi — eğlence sistemi olmak üzere iki adet 10,25 inç’lik ekran yer alıyor. İkincisi, çoklu görev için bölünmüş ekran modunda kullanılmaktadır.

Hyundai, güvenlik anlamında, yayaları da algılayabilen ön çarpışma asistanıyla başlayan ve arkadan çarpışma uyarısı, şerit takip asistanı, kör nokta izleme ve herhangi bir durumda otomobili otomatik olarak frenleyen akıllı park asistanıyla devam eden büyük bir donanım paketiyle geliyor. Engel veya başka bir hareketli cisimleri de algılayabilmektedir.

Hafif hibrit versiyonu, büyük Koreli üreticiyi de yakalamış durumda. i20, 48 voltluk bir elektrik sistemine ve geliştirilmiş yakıt tüketimine izin veren küçük bir batarya paketine sahiptir. Hyundai, dizel motor ünitelerinden vazgeçti ve lansmanda sadece üç adet benzinli motor ünitesi yer alıyor. 3 silindirli ve iki farklı güç çıkışlı. Bunlar; 1,0 litrelik 100 bg ve 120 bg ve 84 bg, 1,2 litrelik dört silindirli bir temel model oluyor. Hyundai, 1,0 lt’lik motor ünitesi için 6 ileri manuel şanzıman ve diğeri için 5 ileri vites sunmaktadır. 100 beygirlik motor ünitesi için bir versiyon olarak satışa sunulan hafif hibrit sistem, 120 beygir için standarttır ve temel motor için mevcut değildir.

998 cc hacmindeki 1.0 T-GDI 7 İleri DCT benzinli motor ünitesi 100 beygir güç ile 172 Nm Tork değerleri üretiyor. 7 İleri otomatik şanzımanla eşleştirilen edilen bu motor ünitesi önden çekiş özelliğine sahiptir. Ayrıca 0-100 hızlanması 11,4 saniye ve azami hızı 185 km/s’tir.

• Autonomous Emergency Braking (AEB)

  Front-mounted camera systems scan the road ahead for vehicles.
  AEB automatically initiates emergency braking to minimize the
  chances of a serious crash, or reduce its consequences.

• Forward Collision Assist (FCA)

  Sensing the road ahead with radar and a camera, the FCA system in conjunction with AEB, automatically brakes when it detects a car, pedestrian and cyclist in the road or sudden braking by the car ahead.

• Forward Collision Warning System (FCWS)

  Sensing the road ahead with radar and a camera, the FCA system
  in conjunction with AEB, automatically brakes when it detects
  a pedestrian in the road or sudden braking by the car ahead.
  Ultimate models also monitor for bicycles on the road.

• Lane Keeping Assist System (LKAS)

  The system contributes to active safety by avoiding unintentional
  lane departures caused by driver distractions. LKAS warns the driver
  acoustically and visually before inducing a corrective steering force.

• Blind Spot Collision Warning (BCW)

  Sensors mounted in the rear bumper on Ultimate models detect the
  proximity of any vehicle obscured in the blind spot and trigger
  a warning light in the relevant door mirror. An acoustic signal
  immediately sounds if a turn signal is activated when a vehicle is
  detected in the blind spot.

  distributes optimum brake force to each wheel based on engine torque and driving
  circumstances. VSM enables the vehicle to maintain maximized
